TEMPORARY TATTOOS Our Temporary Tattoos are Created in a Cosmetic Pigment. The medium is created in Melbourne by “The Amazing Ramond” specifically to mimic Permanent Tattoo Work. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DRY AND HOW LONG DO THEY LAST? The Cosmetic Pigments dry in 4 seconds and sit on the skin for a few days up to a week yet may be removed instantly with Baby Oil or Rubbing Alcohol ARE THEY SAFE? Safety is paramount with our services, our Products are all FDA Government Compliant - Yes they are very safe. ALL ABOUT HENNA WHAT IS HENNA - HOW LONG DOES IT LAST? Henna is a Herb. We use the plant to create a dye that stains the outer layer of skin. The dye is permanent, our skin is not. You will wear a Henna Design for as long as it takes your body to exfolliate. Generally people shed that top layer with in 1-4 weeks. WHAT COLOUR IS HENNA? Natural Henna stains the skin a reddish/brown, that is the colour the plant produces. The intensity of the stain is dependant on your Body Chemistry at the time of application. The end result could be anything from a deep reddish brown to a beautiful gentle coffee colour. If you have Henna applied regularly you may observe different shades develop as your body chemistry changes. CAN I GET BLACK HENNA? Natural Henna is a Reddish/Brown, if Henna is marketed as Black, then it has a chemical in it to dye it black. Henna is perfectly safe, but the Chemical added (PPD) is potentially dangerous, it can in fact scarr the body permanently. For this reason we will not use it. It has been banned in the USA, UK & Japan. It is used prolifically in Bali, The Greek Islands and Thailand, so be careful when you travel. If it’s passed off as Black Henna, don’t touch it. Skin tests are not reliable and even if you have one application safely, it may set up a sensitivity and un-be-known to you, that will flare up on later applications. For most people an irritation is like a little sunburn and manifests in little bubble blisters that soon heal. For more sensitive reactions the scarr can be permanent. ITS NOT WORTH THE RISK. WE OFFER A COSMETIC PIGMENT TO ACHIEVE BLACK WHICH IS A SAFE ALTERNATIVE, THIS WAY YOU CAN ENJOY THE LOOK OF HENNA WITHOUT THE RISK. FACE PAINTING With the Face Painting & Masquerade work, only the highest quality, gentle Professional Products are used. These are waterbased products that will wash off. All products are FDA Government Compliant and safe to use. ON SOME SKIN TYPES CERTAIN PIGMENTS CAN BE A TAD MORE STUBBORN THAN OTHERS, IF THIS IS THE CASE, SIMPLY MASSAGE A LITTLE BABY OIL OVER THE PIGMENT, LET IT SIT FOR A MINUTE TO SOAK IN AND THEN THE REST OF THE RESIDUE WILL EASILY WIPE AWAY. BODY ART Our Body Art is applied in either the Water Based or Alcohol based Products outlined above. Depending on the brief, we’ll decide together which is the most appropriate and make sure you understand the expected durability and how to remove.
